Tournament scheduling for youth sports
Set up your tournament in an afternoon. GOAT Tourney builds the whole game schedule, then runs the weekend with you.
The whole game schedule, built for you
Tell GOAT Tourney your fields, the hours you have them, how long a game runs and how your divisions play, and it builds every game of the tournament: group games, then the playoff rounds. It knows which coaches run which teams, so no coach is booked in two places at once. It keeps rest time between a team's games and leaves room to travel between venues, and it honors the requests you collect every year, like the team that cannot play before 10. When one more request comes in, you change the schedule instead of rebuilding it by hand.
Soccer, and the sports beside it
Host soccer, basketball, lacrosse, ice hockey, baseball or softball. Each sport keeps its own rules where they differ: whether a game can end in a tie, how standings points are counted, what a field or a court or a rink is called, and how long a game runs.
How setup works
- Sign in, name your tournament, and give its sport, dates and place.
- Pick your venues and fields and the hours you have each one.
- Choose your age groups and levels, or upload the team list you already have.
- Decide what registration asks each team, whether teams check in online, and whether you collect entry fees online.
- Share your registration link. Teams register, and you accept or decline each one; every club is told your decision by email.
One question per screen, and nothing is saved until you press Continue. Next year it starts from this year’s answers, so you confirm instead of typing everything again.
Everything the weekend needs
- Team check-in
- Rosters, player cards and signed waivers collected online and reviewed overnight, so you can see which teams are ready to play. Online check-in with document review is included with your first event.
- Referees
- Assign officials to games, send each one a link to their own schedule, and get their confirmations back in one place.
- Scores from the field
- One score-entry link for the whole event. A score typed with no signal is kept on the phone and sent when the signal comes back.
- Standings and brackets
- Standings update as scores come in, with tiebreakers applied the way your rules define them, and the playoff draw is published for everyone to follow.
- A schedule your families can use
- A public schedule, standings and draw with no ads, in English, Spanish or French, and an app that tells families the moment a game time moves.
Free until 2028
Hosting a tournament on GOAT Tourney is free until 2028: every event, every team, and the whole schedule. If you collect entry fees through us, each payment carries a small processing fee, shown before you turn payments on.
